At the AGM in December we discussed ways of improving our Clubhouse.\u00a0 One of the matters that had been previously raised and which the Committee has started looking into are the changing rooms and the provision of improved and more private shower and changing facilities.<\/p>\n

A possible new floorplan for the clubhouse.\u00a0 In this option all of the alterations are internal and the Clubhouse stays the same size. \u00a0
The changes are:\n

  • The male changing room is rearranged to replace the existing step-up shower cubicles with two larger wet room type showers. \u00a0 Some of the benching is replaced by lockers.<\/li>\n
  • The Disabled WC is adapted to include a shower \u2013 although due to space restrictions this wouldn\u2019t be a fully wheelchair compliant WC\/shower \u2013 but would provide a small family showering facility.<\/li>\n

    An alternative new floorplan for the clubhouse.\u00a0 In this option the Clubhouse is extended to the rear to create a row of new wet room type showers off the changing rooms. \u00a0
    The changes are:<\/p>\n

    • The male changing room is rearranged to replace the existing step-up shower cubicles with two larger wet room type showers in the rear extension. \u00a0 Some of the benching is replaced by lockers and an additional length of benching is provided where the shower cubicles were.<\/li>\n
    • The Disabled WC is extended to include a shower area \u2013 this also provides a good sized family showering \/changing facility.<\/li>\n
    • The female changing room is rearranged to replace the existing step-up shower cubicle with two wet room type showers in the rear extension.\u00a0 Some of the benching is replaced by lockers and additional benching and privacy screen are provided. \u00a0<\/li>\n
    • A new cleaning cupboard with external access is formed at the end of the extension so that cleaning equipment isn\u2019t kept in the changing room.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
