Open Day 2026

 

All are welcome – no membership or prior experience necessary! No need to book, just come along on the day. There will be opportunities to go for a sail in a dinghy, half decker or river cruiser (larger sailing boats with cabins). Visitors will also be able to meet current members, look around the clubhouse and explore our large grounds.

 

All ages welcome, but we ask that children are accompanied by an adult.

Buoyancy aids will be provided – just wear practical shoes (trainers are ideal). Tea, coffee, soft drinks, cakes and snacks will be available.

Finding us is easy on various forms of transport –

By rail: we are a short walk from Waterbeach station. 

By bus: the no.100 bus from the City Centre stops near Waterbeach station. 

By bike: from Cambridge, cycle along the scenic towpath along the River Cam. 

By road: we are on the bend on the road by The Bridge pub, navigate to CB25 9HZ. Free parking on site.
