Safeguarding

Cam Sailing Club is committed to safeguarding everyone taking part in it’s activities from physical, sexual or emotional harm, neglect or bullying.

We recognise that the safety and welfare of children and adults is paramount and that all people, whatever their age, gender, disability, culture, ethnic origin, colour, religion or belief, social status or sexual identity, have a right to protection from abuse.

Cam Sailing Club follows the guidelines which have been produced by the RYA to enable adults and young people to enjoy the sport of sailing in a safe environment.

Whilst on site under 18’s are to remain under the supervision and responsibility of a named adult at all times.

A full Safeguarding Policy is available upon request from the club welfare officer.

If you have a concern about a child, young adult or vulnerable adult pass the information directly to our Welfare Officer who  will follow the club’s procedures.

You can contact the Welfare Officer directly.
